[That only warrants a pleased, noncommittal hum. It depends, after all, upon what one means by this. He's perhaps as surprised as anyone to be in this situation; habitually Isaak, too, prefers privacy, but there's a certain privacy to being unremarkable. The worst that could happen would be-- well. The usual trouble two men caught in public would encounter, and nothing more. As much as it stings to be deprived of one's usual situation, there are some consolations.

He spreads his palm open, slowing down his strokes, teasing.]

[Teasing? Two can play at that game -- although he's never been much of a tease, himself; he's willing to make the effort for Isaak, since Isaak seems to be in the mood to torment him by slowing down. He matches his own movements of his hand to Isaak's pace, meeting his eyes challengingly for a moment. It's strange, really, how Andrew feels the need to make almost everything competitive, even this, but since they both benefit from it, he won't over-think matters.]

[Really, if anything explains their peculiar friendship that's it: mutual benefit. It's a cooperative sort of competition.

He leans in, not stopping, but not picking up his pace, to murmur right at the shell of Andrew's ear:]

[He picks up his pace a little, but only just a little, perhaps not even enough to be noticeable.]

[Really, it doesn't much matter if he notices-- it's still agonizingly slow. Not that he can complain; every dangerous second they draw this out is a thrill. And it's not as if he's being any kinder, pausing to huff another little laugh.]

I do like a challenge.

And that, I think, is why we get along so well.

[If he were a normal type of person, he might have said 'that's why I like you so much,' but he's hardly effusive, and although he leans into Isaak a little more, biting at his neck, he keeps the pace just as slow as it was before. He wonders, vaguely, which of the two of them will be the first to break and speed up again -- it's almost a battle of wills.]

[Isaak is disinclined to seek sentiment; that would feel disloyal, in a way sex doesn't. And anything would be a poor substitute for what he's lost; better this, the occasional pleasant but passing encounter.

So, more or less, he understands perfectly.

It's not sentiment that makes him relent, quickening his motions again, but there is some fondness there.]

[As soon as Isaak quickens his motions, he follows suit, although he still tries to keep his motions subtle just in case of any passersby. It only seems fair to relent after Isaak has, after all, and isn't their arrangement intended to be a fair exchange? They both obviously benefit from it.]

[One of the myriad advantages of being tall and broad-shouldered; they're fairly effectively hidden from view, well enough at least that anyone passing by would have to turn in to the alley to catch them.

He bites back a low moan with effort.]

[He's not a vocally expressive person himself, not someone inclined to moans, but his quickened breathing against Isaak's neck should say just as much as Isaak's quieted moan. He vaguely wonders what would happen if they got caught breaking curfew and doing this, but he discovers he doesn't particularly care.]

[It's a reaction, and perhaps he ought to be relieved that Andrew isn't inclined to shout; the truth is, though, it only reinforces his determination to make the other man shout. Not now, perhaps-- this is hardly the place-- but on principle.]

[A reaction indeed, although one Andrew doesn't necessarily seem pleased by, from the subtle way he draws back from Isaak a little. Never one to enjoy losing control, even his quickened breathing seems like too much of a giveaway that he's enjoying himself far too much.]

[The infinite, unhealthy layers of power play here would take more time to untangle than Isaak is willing to devote. He considers himself a simple man, and certainly he doesn't need that sort of intellectual friction to enjoy himself-- but it would be a lie to say it's not a pleasant dimension.

But as much as he might like to draw the experience out, they are rather short on time and he's nearing the end of his-- patience, shall we say. He leans a bit harder on Andrew's shoulder, just to be obnoxious, and sets himself in earnest to the task of finishing Andrew off.]

[Perhaps fortunately, it shouldn't take long to finish him off, partially because aware of the time constraint, as it were, and partially because there's something decidedly exciting about doing this kind of thing here, of all places. To his credit, he's hardly obvious about it, though he does press closer to Isaak.

All the while, he doesn't stop his own movements, despite his own pleasure. It wouldn't be fair to Isaak, after all, and he is invested in a fair exchange.]

[Frankly, if Andrei were less committed to mutual benefit, Isaak would have lost interest long ago.

Eyes pressed shut, he breathes hard, momentarily oblivious to anything but their hands.]
