[The woman onscreen takes a moment to adjust the collar of a too-large men's button-down shirt-- well made, but clearly not tailored to her frame-- and runs a hand through her short silver hair before fixing clear, gray-blue eyes on the camera's lens.]

I seem to recall this coming around some months ago, [she says evenly, in an accent that might be a bit more familiar than her face.] But I expect it was only a matter of time. Inconvenient, really.

[Isaak shrugs it off.]

I find myself in need of a pair of shoes, if anyone's of a mind to be a hero. I've no idea what size. Everything else I can manage with, I think.

[You might suspect this to be an accidental post. You might not be wrong. Isaak is sitting in a comfortable armchair, his device clearly recording from a table beside him. He's not looking at it; he's reading a book, while classical music plays rather loudly in the background.

After a time, he looks up-- not at the camera, merely away from his book, and says--]

The coming and going does become tiresome, after a time, doesn't it.

[And a moment after, without looking, reaches over to turn off the feed.]

As I've seen significantly less people chained together today, I suppose I'd best take the opportunity to address the Network.

My bar, the Wolf's Den, is currently hiring; preference will be given to those with experience, but I'm willing to give newcomers a chance, provided you are competent.

Is this the City trying to be romantic? Or merely embarrassing? From what I understand, the latter is likelier, though really I'm just worried it's all a bit unhygienic.

[That said, he's not necessarily against it. It's less that he's interested in partaking, and more that it's amusing to watch people's awkwardness. Or occasional enthusiasm, which is perhaps even funnier as it's not always matched between partners. Ah, young love.

But it takes a bit more than an unexpected kiss to unsettle Isaak, so... yes, do feel free to bump into him as he goes about his business.]

[Sitting outside a small cafe, Isaak looks fairly composed, all things considered, though his shirt's a tad rumpled. Calmly setting a small coffee cup on its saucer, he smiles briefly at the camera.]

Well, I've certainly seen what you all meant about these so-called curses. It must be dreadfully difficult to get anything done around here, if you're not a dairy farmer.

[He shifts, leaning back slightly in his seat.]

So.. I suppose I've made the best of worse situations, but I am accustomed to having more in the way of resources. Unfortunately, I wasn't given the opportunity to pack before this delightful abduction. Which means, for the first time in quite a long time, I'm looking for a job.

A city of this size must have something more interesting than waiting tables to offer. I've always found a certain satisfaction in making myself of use.

So, tell me: [here, he leans forward again, clasping his hands in front pf him, elbows on the table,] what do you need, my fellow captives?
